  • We are located in the center of the Western Upper Peninsula's finest hunting opportunities. Be it deer, black bear, ruffed grouse, waterfowl, or other small game, there are thousands of acres of land open to public hunting around Lake Gogebic and the surrounding area.  Hunting pressure is generally medium to light wherever you go with an abundance of game.
  • We have an annual buck contest during the first week of deer hunting season for our customers only.  With a very limited number of entrants, your chance of winning is very good.  Prizes are monetary sometimes up to $300 and second prize is a $40 gift certificate toward your next stay at our resort.
  • Bear hunting guide services are available.  All hunts are over bait with archery or firearms.  Call for hunt package prices and references.  We also can give advice on locations to hunt for deer and grouse.
  • If you enjoy late season deer hunting, muzzleloading and late season archery can be extremely productive.
  • If you are coming up for fall hunting around Lake Gogebic, don't forget your fishing equipment.  Some of the best fall fishing on our lake can be done right off the shoreline after dark.
