The Lake Gogebic area is famously known for its excellent snowmobiling.  We are fortunate to be located within the snow belt  which means we have considerably more snow than other areas due to the lake effect snow we get from Lake Superior.  Our average annual snowfall usually reaches the 300" mark.  If we don't have it, most likely nobody does. We have access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails right from the resort.  In the Lake Gogebic area alone we have three new groomers running 24 hours a day.  Each trail usually gets groomed at least once a day.  You can also jump right on the lake here and travel to many of the famous pit-stops around the lake. We have a tremendous amount of flat, open parking space for the biggest of rigs. We have a heated repair garage available free upon request for our customers. We sell Michigan trail stickers here and provide free trail maps for each cabin. Save some of your vacation time for March snowmobiling.   We generally have some of the best snow conditions of the year in March with very little traffic on the trails.
